Kibitsuhiko-no-mikoto (The Demon-slaying Prince) is a deity enshrined in Kibitsu Shrine and is thought to have been the inspiration for the legend of “Momotaro”. The shrine, designated as a National Treasure, boasts an impressive 400 metre-long covered walkway connecting the main shrine with the secondary shrine.
